For my first hackathon my team had to make a website that in some way enacted change. We decided to attempt a game that would simulate what the MTA was like.

For my second hackathon my team had to make a website that had to do with our future. We decided to attempt a game that would simulate our journey to our future, through school.

During Summer Academy my partner and I made a website for a mock client, who wanted it for his friend that had a bakery. I also made the logo for the website, which was great experience because I want to go into marketing when I'm older.

I spent 3 days working on a functional ordering page where you could actually select quantities and products and then it would be reflected in the shopping cart.

For my after school program we held an event to educate the community on substance abuse. My friend and I made a game to make it more fun to lean about possibly surprising facts.

Although we didn't get to make it the prettiest, we were pretty proud of the working points system and the ability to change background color according to correctness.

This is one of our first projects, we had to make a rock paper scissors game that saved variables to compete against the variable.

The game allows you to play against the computer. There are three different end results, user win, user lose, or draw. Points are added accordingly.

Our third project in the Advanced Class was to make a piglatinizer. This meant creating a site that could translate any sentence to proper pig latin.

I was able to figure out a way to translate most piglatinized words back to English.

Our fourth project in the Advanced Class was to make a playlist app. This one was a fun project because I love listening to music so seeing a way of collecting songs on a website was cool. I added a personal touch by starting with my personal favorites.

For the songs, I played with hover effects to make the site more interesting. I was very happy with the overall look of the site and glad it worked to add one song at a time neatly.

Our third hackathon's theme was "Dare Explore Disrupt" and my team chose to create a page that would reflect the current issues we face as a country: Gun Control. Though not pictured here, we created a story element where the user would be put "into" a school shooting scenario so that our message would be received on more epathetic eyes.

One big part of the resource page was the carousel at the top of the page, along with the twitter API and embeded change.org petition for anyone visiting the site to sign.

For our final project we had to incorporate APIs into a website of our design. We made it so that both a movie of one's choosing but also a random movie could be displayed.

One of my favorite parts is that we were able to incorporate the YouTube API to show the trailer of any movie being displayed in the results area.

As a project for school, I had to make a presentation on all the math courses required for my major in college. Since I plan on getting a BS in Economics, I had quite a few math courses to add.
